Data Retention Management
GDPR Article 5(1)(e) — Storage Limitation Principle
Define how long each category of personal data is kept, and automatically identify or act on data that has exceeded its retention period.
GDPR Article 5(1)(e) requires that personal data is "kept in a form which permits
identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are
processed." Retention policies here implement the storage limitation principle.
